Register a class for the Police Officer's Dilemma Lab

Welcome Instructors:

Thank you for your interest in using the Police Officer's Dilemma as part of a class exercise. You can have your students do this assignment in class (which takes about 30) or you can have them do the task on their own outside of class. After completion, you can download the data for analysis so you can discuss the activity after with your students once they have completed it.

If you want to be able to receive the complete data for your class and would like more information about how to facilitate a discussion with your students about issues of racial bias and equity raised in the task, you just need register with us. The registration is completely automated and very simple. Just fill out the form below and the system will set up a class file for you and send you an email with all the information you need. The system will send you a custom link (URL) for you to forward to your students and when they use that link to do the task, their data will be placed in your class file. You will receive information about how to download that file as well as basic tools for performing analyses using SPSS, R, or for a quick display of key results in Excel.

We also have materials available to help you discuss the diversity, and equity issues that should arise from using this exercise in your class. All you need do is complete the form below and the system will send you the information need. Your registration information will only be used to set up your class file (automated) and will never be shared with others.
